What happens to a beloved pet when her owner is no longer there….
For 12 years, Pepper was a devoted companion. She was cherished for all of her life. Now she needs someone who will give her the love and care she needs in her senior years.
A family member said “Pepper loves human contact. She’s very sweet and was very accepting of the home health care aids during the last six weeks of her owner’s life. She seems to be accepting of whatever is happening around her.” Pepper just wants to be included in whatever people are doing.
Pepper is an easy dog to live with. She likes other dogs, car rides and she especially loves to go for long walks. Her owner routinely took her on 1-2 mile walks. She also enjoys puttering around the back yard.
Pepper has seen her vet recently and he remarked that she is in good shape. Like a lot of senior cockers, she has lost hearing and is partially sighted however she has adapted well to her temporary caregiver’s home. She also needs to go outside during the day every 2-3 hours to potty.
Pepper is an adaptable, affectionate little cocker who needs a quiet home with someone who is around a lot and like to go for walks and who will appreciate the advantages of living with a content, easygoing cocker!
P.S. Pepper doesn’t like to brag but she is a former beauty queen (AKC Champion Show Dog)!
