CSRNE Adopted Cockers
HAPPY TALES!

CSRNE Cockers happy at last in their forever home!

Happy adoptions and successful placements are what CSRNE volunteers and the rescue community work towards. When a Cocker Spaniel finds a responsible, loving home, it's very exciting and rewarding. These happy endings should be shared and celebrated

There is one thing that makes us sad. A lot of our  friends are still at the CSRNE foster homes and they really want a home of their own. Please take a minute to look at their pictures and adopt one of them. You will not be sorry as they will be so grateful that they will give you tons of love and affection in return. CSRNE does not have enough room for all the Cockers in shelters so if you adopt one of our friends, it will make room for another Cocker.

The following Cocker Spaniels have been adopted and are finally resting their heads in their forever homes. We wish our families much happiness and love with their new found family member.

To add your CSRNE Happy Tale dog to our site send a current photo and bio to photo@csrne.org

Lucky: My name is Lucky and I now live in Maine with my adoptive parents, Pete and Sonya.  They adopted me on December 22, 2007 and it was love at first sight.  They are always telling me that Lucky is a perfect name for me, because they feel so lucky that I came into their lives!   We are having a great time as a family.  We like to go for walks together at the beach and around the neighborhood.  We even like to watch American Idol together.  My favorite thing to do though is to hang out with my best friend, which is my dad.    Read More...

Nicki: Nicki is such a little sweetie and has adapted very well to our home and golden retriever Milo.  They are good buds.  She is such a wonderful walker. She is a mover.  We take short walks and that way can usually get in more.  I am looking to get a pooch pouch so I can carry her when I want to walk the 3-5 miles and not over do her but she then has the advantage of being out with me.  Read More...

Garth: This dear middle-aged cocker was found late on a bitter cold night wandering in a parking lot. Even though he was exhausted and cold, he greeted his rescuers with a friendly face and a wagging tail. Garth had been neglected in the extreme. There were polyps in both of his badly infected ears. He also had infected gums, rotten teeth, and a cheery eye. Despite all the discomfort Garth experienced, he just loved everyone he met and never stopped wagging his little cocker bunny tail. Our vet immediately sedated him and did a deep ear flush to clean out all the debris in both his ears and he was put antibiotics and Prednisone.   Read More...

Snickers This handsome tri-color 4 year old cocker needs a home where he is the only dog.  Snickers just adores his current owner and wants to be near her all the time.  Unfortunately he is not able to share her attention with her other two cocker spaniels and she has reluctantly decided to return him to CSRNE so he can be placed in a home where he is the only dog. Tori This 2 1/2 year old cutie pie gets rave reviews from her groomer who says: “She’s fun-loving, likes giving lots of kisses and her tail wags a mile a minute! Henry is 2 years old with a small build and is Charlie's brother . He has grown up at Rivendell Respite Care since he arrived as a puppy. He can be timid and fearful when first meeting strangers. After a bond is established, he is an extremely affectionate and charming little guy. Henry needs to be the only dog in the household. He was adopted out and returned several months later when his owner became ill. He went to work daily with her and became friendly with all of her colleagues.  Read More...

Max is the cool one and Magic is the goofy one. Housebreaking is working well. They love as much affection as you can give them and really enjoy the outdoors. We can't wait until we can run Max since he really enjoys fetching his tennis ball. We haven't done a lot with training since Max needs to stay somewhat calm.   Read More...

Seamus is a sweetheart and a pleasure to have in our home. After losing our boy Kipper ( a cocker mix) in 2003 after 17 years we had decided no more dogs. Well that didn't last long. We got Seamus in March  of 2005 and we couldn't be happier. He is very content just lying around and sleeping most of the time either on the couch next to us or on my bed at night.  Read More...
