UPDATE   3/19/08:  Darcy is now back in her foster home after successful surgery last week to remove her ear canals.  She is now pain-free for life.  She was thrilled to see her foster mom and dad and settled right back into her old routine (she was especially happy  to snuggle again in her foster mom's lap).  She'll go back to Tuft's Foster Hospital next week to have her stitches removed and then she's ready to be adopted.

This petite 1 1/2 year old Cocker miss was probably on the city streets because both her ears are badly infected which has resulted in calcification of the ear canals. Darcy is scheduled for surgery February 4, 2008 and will have both ear canals removed. Despite her obvious discomfort, she is a terrific little cocker and is enjoying the companionship of her foster mom and other rescue cockers. She loves chasing Coco from one end of the fenced in yard to the other but when she comes inside she calms right down and wants to cuddle. She's a happy smart little girl who will be a wonderful companion to some lucky adopter.
