Princess

Better photos coming soon

This utterly sweet little 8 year old cocker girl was hit by a car on February 3rd and suffered a fractured jaw and lacerations in her mouth.  The Animal Control Officer called us immediately and we rushed her to veterinary specialist who was able to get her right into surgery and repaired the damage.  Princess tolerated the surgery well and by the next day, she was wagging her tail at all the vet techs and eating her gruel.  Our vet was very impressed with her temperament and pronounced her a "very sweet dog".
Princess had done remarkably well since her surgery on February 3rd and she will soon leave the vet hospital and go to her foster home.  Our vet is really pleased with her progress--she has very good occlusion (can open and close her mouth with no difficulty), she's eating, happy and very adoptable.  The vet described her as an excellent patient.  Total cost of surgery and post-operative care is $1030.
