Jake was found wandering around the stake and
chain he had been tied to. He was dirty, hungry, badly matted,
and very happy to see the Animal Control Officer (ACO) who
rescued him. He was taken to the city shelter where he was
groomed, neutered, and given all his shots. Everyone was amazed
at what a pretty cocker there was underneath all the dirt and
mats.
Jake charmed the shelter staff and he
received an A+ on his temperament evaluation. Everyone there
agreed he was a “very sweet boy.” Jake’s foster dog concurs and
says, “he’s a nice dog.”
The vet thinks he’s about five years old
and a healthy dog.
